Chapter I  ·  How you plug it in

Three ways to connect.

New phone number, your existing PBX, or Microsoft Teams. Same AI, same customization, different plumbing. Pick the one you already have.

Option 01 · PSTN

A new phone number, the simplest way in.

We provision you a real phone number in any US area code, local or toll-free, your pick. Hand it out, forward your existing line to it, or publish it on your site. The AI answers. No IT team needed.

  1. 01Local or toll-free. Your pick of area code and region.
  2. 02Forwards & transfers out of the box, to any cell or landline.
  3. 03SMS out of the same number for confirmations.
  4. 04Works with any phone you already own.
  5. 05Recording & transcript for every call, always.
  6. 06No contract. Cancel whenever it stops being useful.
single-shop owners and most SMBs.
Option 02 · SIP Registration

Your existing PBX, one more extension.

Keep your phone system. Add an AI extension. SoloDial registers as a SIP extension on any VoIP system, including FreePBX, 3CX, Asterisk, FreeSWITCH, RingCentral, Zoom Phone, Nextiva, Vonage, and 8x8, and any UCaaS provider that speaks SIP. Your numbers stay where they are. Once it's sitting behind your PBX, forward your inbound calls to the AI extension and it plays auto-attendant for the whole shop. Transfers back out to any other extension by name.

  1. 01Registers over UDP / TCP / TLS. Drop it into any config.
  2. 02Internal extension-to-extension transfers. "Put me through to Mike, ext 105" just works.
  3. 03Keeps your DIDs, hunt groups, and voicemail untouched.
  4. 04Warm, cold, or ring-group transfers. You pick.
  5. 05Recording lands back on your PBX, or on ours.
  6. 06UCaaS-reseller friendly. Brand it, resell it.
multi-seat offices, PBX operators, and UCaaS resellers.
Option 03 · Teams auto-attendant

Microsoft Teams, natively inside your tenant.

SoloDial answers on a phone number we provide and when it transfers, the call lands directly inside Microsoft Teams, ringing on your teammates' laptops and mobile Teams apps. No second phone-network hop. Uses your real Teams directory for name-based routing.

  1. 01Admin-consent OAuth. One click for your tenant.
  2. 02Name-based routing to any Teams user. "Transfer me to Alice."
  3. 03Ext-to-ext inside Teams, no PSTN round-trip.
  4. 04Keep your Teams number. Forward to us and it's live.
  5. 05Directory-synced: new hires get reached automatically.
  6. 06Logs land in Teams alongside regular calls.
