Nextiva's NextOS admin panel has a first-class BYOD path with an 'Add Device' wizard that generates SIP credentials inline. One of the smoothest self-service flows.

Sign in to NextOS
Go to cp.nextiva.com and pick the Admin app.

Users → pick the user → Devices
Open the user you want the AI to answer for (or create a dedicated 'AI Receptionist' user first). Scroll to Devices and click 'Add Device'.

Choose 'Generic SIP Device / BYOD'
Skip Poly, Yealink, etc. Choose the generic SIP / BYOD option. Nextiva will auto-generate a username and password for you.

Copy Authentication Username, Password, and Domain
The 'Line Credentials' panel shows everything you need: Authentication Username (SIP user), Authentication Password (SIP password), SIP Domain (registration URL). The extension number is shown at the top of the user page.

Watch out for
- Nextiva passwords are generated once and never shown again. Save them immediately in a password manager AND in SoloDial. If you lose it, regenerate the device, which breaks any existing registration.
