Cloud PBX
Call required
Vonage Business
SIP setup
Vonage Business officially supports BYOD SIP but you must open a support case to request credentials. The admin portal has a 'Devices' section but no self-serve credential export.
Why the call is required
Vonage hides BYOD credentials behind a named support case. Budget 1-3 business days.

What to do first

Gather your account details
Log in to admin.vonage.com. Copy your Account Number from the top-right corner and note the extension you want SoloDial to use.

Open a support case
Phone: 1-866-901-0242. Reference the script below. Ask for the credentials to be delivered through the Vonage support portal (not email) for security.
Script for the call
Say this when support picks up
- I need to set up a third-party SIP client, specifically an AI voice receptionist called SoloDial, to register one of my extensions remotely.
- Please provision a BYOD SIP device on my account and send me the SIP registrar URL, the extension's SIP username, and the SIP password.
- Can you also confirm there's no port-restriction or IP-lock policy that would block registration from a cloud server?
Watch out for
- Vonage occasionally routes BYOD requests to Tier-2 support. If the first rep says BYOD is 'not supported', politely ask to escalate, the feature exists, it's just not Tier-1.
